How does VacBrew work?
VacBrew utilizes a high-efficiency vacuum pump that creates a powerful vacuum of up to -450mBar. This vacuum enhances the extraction of coffee flavors, significantly reducing brewing time compared to traditional methods. The one-touch control interface allows you to select different steeping modes, making the brewing process simple and customizable.
How do I use VacBrew?
Using VacBrew is simple. Fill the brewing container with your desired amount of coffee grounds and water, select the appropriate steeping mode using the one-touch control interface, and let the vacuum pump do the rest. Your cold brew will be ready in just a few minutes.
How do I clean VacBrew?
After brewing, disassemble the parts of the VacBrew (except for the vacuum pump) and place them in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dried before reassembling.
Can I brew hot coffee with the VacBrew?
Yes, you can brew hot coffee. The coffee chamber is made out of Tritan, a durable material that withstand high temperature. We recommend a water temperature of 80°C (176°F) for best results.
What is VacBrew made out of?
VacBrew is made from high-quality, durable materials, including a borosilicate glass carafe and BPA-free Tritan components. All parts are designed to withstand regular use and are safe for food contact.
Troubleshooting
What type of batteries should I use?
Use new alkaline batteries. Avoid used or carbon batteries, as they may not provide sufficient power.
What does a red blinking light mean?
A red blinking light indicates that the batteries need to be replaced. Swap them with new alkaline batteries.
The vacuum doesn’t turn on. What should I do?
- Step 1: Replace the batteries with new alkaline batteries to see if the device powers on.
- Check for breathing lights: If you see breathing lights, the device is working. The VacBrew has three preset timers:
- These timers allow the coffee to steep. After the timer ends, the vacuum process begins, pushing water through the coffee grounds to extract the coffee.
How does the white light and manual vacuum mode work?
- The white light indicates manual vacuum mode.
- To activate: Hold the button for a few seconds to immediately start the vacuum function, ideal for UV-block coffee canisters.
- Alternatively, you can set a custom timer and manually initiate the vacuum process.
